This includes surgery for trauma to the bones and joints, sports related injuries, tumours and birth and growth-related bony disorders. Bones are reduced and fixed with modern day plates, screws and nails to facilitate bone healing. Dr Mathur has performed more than 3000 trauma surgeries both in the young and elderly patients. He is an instructor for the advanced trauma life support course held at RML Hospital and AIIMS, New Delhi organised by the American college of surgeons. The course is designed to teach the integrities of acute trauma management and save valuable lives.
